Navy Diver Olympics Official Rules

The Toughest 10 Minutes on Coronado!

Each contestant will complete all events in the allotted time. Once the time has expired the entrant is finished and must move on to the next event. The contest will encompass 5 evolutions that will be completed back-to-back for a final composite score.

The evolutions:

1. As many pull-ups as possible in 2 minutes. Once the contestant's feet touch the ground or the 2 minutes expires he is finished. 30 seconds rest then...

2. As many Push-ups as possible in 2 minutes. If chest touches the ground for more than one second the contestant is finished. 30 seconds rest then...

3. As many lunges as possible in 2 minutes. Left and Right leg equal 1 lunge. 30 seconds rest then...

4. As many 8-count body builders as possible in 2 minutes. 30 seconds rest then...

The Trivia Question:

The objective of Navy Diver Trivia is to exemplify the broad knowledge required to be a navy diver. The questions have been chosen at random from a variety of sources. The questions are posted below and the correct answer. The participant will be asked one of these questions and given the correct answer amongst others that are false. Study hard as the Navy Diver Trivia is Worth 25 points to your composite score.

The Scoring:
To equalize those who excel in one area and to standardize the scores we have made a few changes to the way each repetition is scored; Every rep is now no longer created equal. The scoring is as follows:

1 point per push-up
2 points per pull-up
2 points per lunge
3 points per 8-count bodybuilder
25 points for correct trivia answer.

The Fine Print:
1. All entrants must sign a liability waiver before admission. All waivers will be stored indefinitely by Navy Diver Olympics, Inc. Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

2. Open to the public with male and female winners.

3. All entrants, sponsors, donors and vendors accept Navy Diver Olympics, Inc. has all rights to the Navy Diver Olympics event and reproductions of the event across all media forms determined of interest. Reproductions, descriptions, photos and video of the event are forbidden without the expressed written consent of Navy Diver Olympics, Inc.

4. The referees will be provided by our sponsor or Navy Diver Olympics, Inc.

5. Navy Diver Olympics, Inc. reserves the right to make the final judgment in any situation arising from the event itself.
